Guyandotte River At Branchland affecting Lincoln County.

For the Guyandotte River…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Guyandotte River at Branchland.

* WHEN…From Sunday afternoon to Monday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, Payton Branch, Nine Mile Creek, Four Mile
Creek, and Hamilton Creek Roads begin to flood.
At 30.0 feet, Payton Branch, Nine Mile Creek, Four Mile Creek and
Hamilton Creek Roads are flooded. Esquire Drive and portions of
Health Creek Road are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM EST Friday the stage was 18.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage early Sunday
afternoon to 31.9 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall
below flood stage early Monday morning, reaching 12.2 feet
early Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
31.4 feet on 05/08/1984.
