* WHAT…Heavy snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and
sleet accumulations between 5 and 10 inches and ice accumulations
ranging from a trace to around one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE…Northern New York and Vermont.

* WHEN…From 7 PM Saturday to 1 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult due to the combination of
heavy snow and ice. Isolated to scattered power outages are
possible due to loading of snow and ice as well as increasing
winds Sunday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Continue to monitor the forecast for trends
in the sleet and freezing rain amounts. This will impact expected
snow totals and impacts for this winter event.
