.Snow has exited east of the region for this evening allowing for a
brief lull in snowfall for the overnight with only intermittent
light snow expected for the next few hours. Overall, most locations
have reported anywhere from 1 to 3 inches thus far. As we head
towards daybreak, more accumulating snow will develop across the
area with additional amounts of 1 to 4 inches near and south of
Interstate 90 and lesser amounts further north. Motorists will want
to check the weather conditions before heading out Saturday morning
and slow down when encountering snow covered roads.
