Flash Flood Warning issued February 15 at 10:00PM CST until February 16 at 2:00AM CST by NWS Paducah KY

At 1000 PM CST, emergency management reported flash flooding across
the warned area. While the heaviest rain has come to an end,
widespread flooding will continue for several more hours as runoff
continues to force area rivers and streams higher. Numerous roads
are either closed or impassable. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain has
fallen. Additional rainfall of less than 1 inch is expected in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring and will eventually
transition to overland flooding.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Murray, Mayfield, Benton, Portageville, East Prairie, New Madrid,
Calvert City, Fulton, Hickman, Clinton, Lilbourn, Bardwell,
Wickliffe, Reidland, Towosahgy State Historic Site, Big Oak Tree
State Park, Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site and Marston.
