The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Central Hardin County in southern Illinois…
Massac County in southern Illinois…
Central Pope County in southern Illinois…
Ballard County in western Kentucky…
Livingston County in western Kentucky…
Northern McCracken County in western Kentucky…

* Until 200 AM CST Sunday.

* At 745 PM CST, Reports from local emergency management indicate
numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Doppler radar and
automated rain gauges indicated between 2 and 4 inches of rain has
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Paducah, Metropolis, Cairo, La Center, Wickliffe, Rosiclare,
Brookport, Salem, Barlow, Golconda, New Columbia, West Paducah,
Barkley Regional Airport, Burna, Joy, Kevil, Joppa, Olmsted,
Cave-in-Rock and Smithland.
