Flood Warning issued February 15 at 10:16PM CST until February 16 at 1:15AM CST by NWS Memphis TN

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of East Arkansas, including the following county,
Mississippi, Southeast Missouri, including the following county,
Pemiscot, and West Tennessee, including the following counties,
Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Haywood, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale,
Madison, Obion and Weakley.

* WHEN…Until 115 AM CST.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all
the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems
in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1016 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 4 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Dyersburg, Martin, Union City, Humboldt, Ripley, Milan,
Caruthersville, Trenton, Reelfoot Lake State Park, Fairview,
Tiptonville, Newbern, Dresden, Alamo, Bells, South Fulton,
Dyer, Halls, Greenfield and Ridgely.
