Ohio River at J.T. Myers Dam affecting Posey and Union Counties.
Ohio River at Shawneetown affecting Hardin, Crittenden, Gallatin
and Union Counties.
Ohio River at Mount Vernon affecting Posey, Union, Henderson and
Vanderburgh Counties.
Ohio River at Newburgh Dam affecting Daviess, Vanderburgh,
Henderson, Spencer and Warrick Counties.
.Very heavy rainfall is falling across the Ohio Valley. Parts of the
river are already experiencing high water and runoff from today’s
rain will lead to another crest later in the month.
For the Ohio River…including Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville,
Henderson, Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda,
Smithland Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam, Cairo…Minor flooding
is forecast.

– At 10:30 AM CST Saturday the stage was 35.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.3
feet this afternoon. It will then rise to 40.7 feet Monday,
February 24. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
– Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
