Warning for the following rivers in Pennsylvania…
Youghiogheny River At Connellsville affecting Fayette County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Youghiogheny River at Connellsville.
* WHEN…From Sunday afternoon to late Sunday night.
* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Flooding begins in the vicinity of Yough
Park.
At 14.0 feet, Several inches of water floods basements of about 30
homes along left bank. River is bankful along the left bank just
downstream from the Crawford Street Bridge. Water reaches the
level of the Hurricane Ivan flood of September 18, 2004.
At 14.1 feet, Water reaches level of March 3, 2015.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:15 PM EST Saturday the stage was 3.9 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 12.6 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
12.5 feet on 02/19/2000.
