Flood Warning issued February 15 at 9:55PM EST until February 16 at 3:30AM EST by NWS Morristown TN

Dangerous flooding impacts from earlier heavy rainfall will
continue through the early morning. Be advised that additional
rainfall is expected during the early morning hours, which may bring
a risk of renewed flooding.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by earlier rainfall is ongoing.

* WHERE…Portions of east Tennessee, including the following
counties, Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger, Hancock, Hawkins,
Sullivan and Union and southwest Virginia, including the following
counties and independent cities, City of Bristol, City of Norton,
Lee, Russell, Scott, Washington and Wise.

* WHEN…Until 330 AM EST.

* IMPACTS…Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will
take several hours for water from these storms to recede. Area
rivers and streams remain high. Significant and dangerous flooding
hazards are ongoing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 938 PM EST, Local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area.

Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Abingdon, Norton, Lebanon,
Wise, Gate City, Sneedville, Jonesville, Big Stone Gap, New
Tazewell, Tazewell, Pennington Gap, Weber City, Cleveland Va,
Walnut Hill, Harrogate, Church Hill and Mount Carmel.
