Flood Warning issued February 16 at 12:41AM CST until February 16 at 7:00AM CST by NWS Paducah KY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE…Portions of western Kentucky, including the following
counties, Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman,
Livingston, Marshall and McCracken and southeast Missouri,
including the following counties, Mississippi and New Madrid.

* WHEN…Until 700 AM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain
closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1235 AM CST, while the heaviest rain has come to an end,
widespread flooding continues from heavy rain that fell on
Saturday. County emergency management and law enforcement
continue to report numerous road closures due to high water
across the warned area.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but little to no additional
rainfall is expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Paducah, Murray, Mayfield, Benton, Portageville, East
Prairie, New Madrid, Calvert City, Fulton, Hickman, Clinton,
Lilbourn, Bardwell, Wickliffe, Lone Oak, Reidland, Towosahgy
State Historic Site, Big Oak Tree State Park, Hunter-Dawson
State Historic Site and Marston.
