Flood Warning issued February 16 at 1:40PM EST until February 16 at 2:15PM EST by NWS Charleston WV

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast Kentucky, including the following
counties, Boyd and Greenup.

* WHEN…Until 215 PM EST.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Streams continue to rise
due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 138 PM EST, gauge reports indicated an area of very heavy
rainfall across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Cannonsburg, Catlettsburg,
Greenup, Greenbo Lake, Oldtown, Load, Naples, Letitia,
Coalton, Princess, Flatwoods, Russell, Raceland, Worthington,
South Shore, Wurtland and Bellefonte.
