High Wind Warning issued February 15 at 9:15PM EST until February 16 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Burlington VT

* WHAT…East to Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60
mph expected.

* WHERE…Eastern Rutland and Western Rutland Counties.

* WHEN…From 7 AM to 7 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult due to mixed
wintry precipitation and periods of high wind gusts exceeding 50
mph.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Winds will shift westerly with a frontal
passage after 7 PM Sunday with gusty conditions continuing through
Monday. Additional wind warnings or advisories may be needed.

At 528 PM CDT, an automated weather station reported gusty showers along a line extending from near Burwell to near Berwyn to near Moorefield. Movement was east southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ord, Loup City, Scotia, Fort Hartsuff State Park, Litchfield, Sherman Reservoir Dam, Lexington, Smithfield, Arcadia, Overton, Cozad, Sumner, Miller, Farnam, Elwood, and North Loup. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 212 and 248.

Special Weather Statement issued April 21 at 3:53PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

Scattered thunderstorms moving southeast over much of North Central and Central Montana east of the Rocky Mountain Front will continue through at least the afternoon hours. These storms are producing isolated cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, brief heavy rainfall, wind gusts to 40 mph, and small hail or graupel. These storms may also produce brief cold air funnels, which are mostly harmless. However, if they briefly touch down as landspouts, they may cause even stronger winds gusts or possibly some minor damage to trees or structures.
