High Wind Watch issued February 15 at 9:15PM EST until February 17 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Burlington VT

* WHAT…West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE…Portions of northern New York and central, northeast,
northwest, and southern Vermont.

* WHEN…From Sunday evening through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles. In areas that experience an extended
period of freezing rain, strong winds and the weight of ice on
tree limbs and power lines could increase the threat of downed
power lines and power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Portions of the Adirondacks and southern
Green Mountains may see an extended period of freezing rain. These
locations will be most susceptible to downed tree limbs and power
lines.
