At 1023 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Scottsville, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Scottsville, Tompkinsville, Edmonton, Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Curtis,
Gum Tree, Blythe, Harlan Crossroads, and Greenhill.

West winds will increase to 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph this morning into this afternoon. Meanwhile, minimum RH values will fall to 20 to 30 percent. Any areas with dry grasses or vegetation will be susceptible to elevated fire weather conditions. Check with the MN DNR or your local county before attempting any outdoor burning.
