Winter Storm Warning issued February 15 at 8:18PM EST until February 17 at 5:00AM EST by NWS Gray ME

* WHAT…Heavy snow and sleet expected. Total snow accumulations
between 7 and 12 inches and sleet accumulations up to one tenth of
an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…In Maine, Central Somerset, Northern Franklin, and
Northern Oxford Counties. In New Hampshire, Northern Coos and
Southern Coos Counties.

* WHEN…Until 5 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS…A snowstorm will bring plowable snow to the region with
a period of moderate travel impacts expected. Periods of moderate
snow and low visibility will be the biggest hazards. Snow will
change to a period of sleet. Visibilities and blowing snow
conditions will improve, but road conditions will remain extremely
slick due to the sleet. Avoid travel if possible.
