Winter Storm Warning issued February 15 at 9:33PM EST until February 16 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Binghamton NY

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations between 3 and 6 inches and ice accumulations between
one tenth and one third of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph Sunday afternoon and early evening. For the Winter Storm
Watch, heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
between 10 and 17 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 55
mph.

* WHERE…Northern Oneida and Southern Oneida Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, until 7 PM EST Sunday. For
the Winter Storm Watch, from late Sunday night through Wednesday
morning.

* IMPACTS…Scattered power outages and tree damage are possible due
to the ice. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling
and blowing snow. Travel could be nearly impossible. Areas of
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.
Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines.
