.Recent rainfall of 2.0 to 3.0 inches has led to rapid rises along
southern Indiana rivers and streams. Lowland and minor flooding
will occur along the lower White River and a portion of the East
Fort White River this week.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…White River at Hazleton.

* WHEN…From Monday morning to Monday, February 24.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, Flood waters cover the Hazleton softball
field. Pottsville Road is underwater and impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– There is no current observed data.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.1 feet early Tuesday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday,
February 23.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
