Flood Warning issued February 16 at 11:16PM EST until February 17 at 8:30AM EST by NWS Charleston WV

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following
counties, Athens, Gallia, Jackson, Meigs, Vinton and Washington.

* WHEN…Until 830 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1111 PM EST, local law enforcement reports numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding.
– The Shade River gauge at Chester indicates a stage of 23.1
feet. Flood stage is 16 feet. At 24 feet, most of Scout Camp
Road floods.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Jackson, Wellston, Pomeroy, Albany, Coolville, Rutland,
Forked Run State Park, New Haven, Mason, Tuppers Plains,
Middleport, Chester, Hamden, Syracuse, Hartford City, Vinton,
Wilkesville, Harrisonville, Dexter and Dyesville.
