* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Cumberland River at Barbourville.

* WHEN…Until early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 38.5 feet, Homes begin flooding in Apple Grove, Sharp
Gap and Smokey.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 PM EST Sunday the stage was 37.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 38.0
feet just after midnight Monday night. It will then fall
below flood stage Tuesday morning.
– Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
