Flood Warning issued February 16 at 4:32PM EST until February 17 at 4:30PM EST by NWS Louisville KY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of south central Indiana, north central Kentucky,
and central Kentucky.

* WHEN…Until 430 PM EST /330 PM CST/ Monday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 429 PM EST /329 PM CST/, emergency management reported
heavy rain in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring.
Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Louisville, Lexington, Richmond, Elizabethtown, Liberty,
Jeffersonville, New Albany, Nicholasville, Jeffersontown and
St. Matthews.
