Tennessee River at Florence affecting Colbert and Lauderdale
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tennessee River at Florence.

* WHEN…Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Alabama State Highway 20 is flooded at the
underpass below U.S. Highways 43 and 72. The underpass will likely
be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 PM CST Sunday the stage was 20.0 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:00 PM CST Sunday was 20.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will oscillate above flood stage with a
maximum value of 20.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will
fall below flood stage Wednesday night.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
20.1 feet on 06/18/1997.
