Longview, Beckville, Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Sabine River near Mineola.
* WHEN…Until further notice.
* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Expect flooding of low river bottoms with
secondary roadways along with picnic and recreational areas
becoming inundated as well. Ranchers should move cattle and
equipment to higher ground.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:15 PM CST Sunday the stage was 16.8 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 PM CST Sunday was 16.8 feet and will hold as a
flat crest overnight.
– Forecast…The river is now expected to fall all week to 14.7
feet Friday evening.
