Ohio River at Ashland affecting Lawrence, Boyd and Greenup
Counties.

For the Ohio River…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Ashland.

* WHEN…From Monday afternoon to early Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 52.0 feet, Minor flooding of roads in low lying areas
begin to flood due to backwater from creeks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM EST Sunday the stage was 46.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 53.4 feet Tuesday morning.
It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
53.3 feet on 01/31/1994.
