High Wind Warning issued February 16 at 10:31PM EST until February 17 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Blacksburg VA

* WHAT…Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of northwest North Carolina and central, south
central, southwest, and west central Virginia.

* WHEN…Until 4 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles.

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * WHERE...Esmeralda and Central Nye County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be a lull in winds for a few hours Thursday night before the strongest winds return Friday morning.
