High Wind Warning issued February 16 at 2:58PM EST until February 17 at 6:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ

* WHAT…West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph.

* WHERE…In Delaware, Kent and Inland Sussex Counties. In Maryland,
Caroline, Kent MD, Queen Annes, and Talbot Counties.

* WHEN…Until 6 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Wet soils combined with the high winds could
result in extensive tree damage. The strong winds will usher in
much colder air, with temperatures in the 20s and 30s and wind
chills in the teens. Potential for power outages combined with the
cold could exacerbate the impacts of this high wind event.
