Lake Effect Snow Warning issued February 17 at 12:59AM EST until February 19 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations
between 5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE…Southern Fulton County.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult. Areas of blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds could
cause tree damage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Gusty winds along with the weight of snow and
ice on trees could result in some downed tree branches leading to
some power outages. Lake lake effect snow will develop later
tonight and continue through Tuesday with the potential for near
blizzard conditions at times.
