Special Weather Statement issued February 16 at 5:43PM AKST by NWS Fairbanks AK

Northeast winds will increase Tuesday afternoon and continue
through Friday with wind gusts up to 40-55 mph. Blowing snow is
likely but there is uncertainty with how intense it is since there
was only a brief period of significant blowing snow with stronger
winds a couple of days ago. We will continue to monitor as
necessary and if we notice anything that deems impactful, the
proper warning or advisory will be issued. For now, it doesn’t
seem too impactful.
