Special Weather Statement issued February 17 at 1:37AM EST by NWS State College PA

HAZARDS…A band of heavy snow accompanied by winds of up to 30 MPH
which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT…At 137 AM EST, a band of heavy snow was along
a line extending from Mount Pleasant Mills to Reeds Gap State Park
and moving east at 25 MPH.

THIS BAND OF HEAVY SNOW WILL BE NEAR…
Fremont, McClure, and Beaver Springs around 140 AM EST.
Port Trevorton around 145 AM EST.

This includes the following highways…
Routes 11 and 15 from THE JUNIATA SNYDER COUNTY LINE to SOUTH OF
SELINSGROVE.
Route 522 from east of Alfarata to Beavertown.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
