Winter Weather Advisory issued February 16 at 2:20PM CST until February 17 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Hastings NE

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 4
inches, with the best chances of 3 to 4 inches expected to be
roughly along and north of a line from Ravenna to Grand Island to
York. East-northeast winds will be modest at 10-15 MPH, with gusts
near 20 MPH during the day on Monday, but given the dry nature of
the snow, minor blowing and drifting will still be possible.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, and south central
Nebraska.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 6 PM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A band of light to moderate snow will
overspread the area from northwest to southeast overnight tonight,
and continue through Monday morning. Snow rates may decrease
Monday afternoon, but at least light snow is likely to continue
through the entire day. Wind chill values late tonight into Monday
morning are expected to drop in the -10 to -15 range.
