Flood Advisory issued February 18 at 5:33PM CST until February 18 at 7:30PM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
counties, Fort Bend and Harris.

* WHEN…Until 730 PM CST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 533 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Village, Piney Point Village, Spring Valley, Spring Branch
West, Spring Branch North, Afton Oaks / River Oaks Area,

Heights, eastern Eldridge / West Oaks, Northside / Northline,
Town West, Near Northside Houston, Mission Bend, Greater
Greenspoint, Aldine and Pecan Grove.
