Ohio River at Ashland affecting Greenup, Boyd and Lawrence
Counties.

Ohio River At Point Pleasant affecting Gallia and Mason Counties.

For the Ohio River…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Greenup Lock.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 56.0 feet, Several low lying areas flooded and
backwater affected on both sides of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:45 AM EST Tuesday the stage was 55.4 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EST Tuesday was 55.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 55.6
feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 54.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
55.3 feet on 01/22/1996.
