Lake Effect Snow Warning issued February 18 at 2:06PM EST until February 19 at 6:00AM EST by NWS Binghamton NY

* WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations
between 6 and 10 inches, with localized snow amounts up to 1 foot
over northern Onondaga and northern Madison Counties. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph with blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE…Madison and Onondaga Counties.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The lake effect snow band will generate
snowfall rates up to 1-2 inches per hour in the heaviest portion
of the lake effect snow band.
