persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph causing
areas of blowing and drifting snow this afternoon.
* WHERE…Northern portions of Wayne and Cayuga counties and
southern portions of Oswego County.
* WHEN…Until 6 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Travel will be extremely difficult in lake effect snow
bands. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility.
The hazardous conditions will impact today’s evening commute.
