A low pressure system lifting north into the Bering Sea this
evening will bring snow and strong northeasterly winds gusting as
high as 40-50 mph. This could lead to several hours of blowing
snow through this evening, with visibilities dropping below one
mile during periods of heavier snowfall. Snow totals will be
about one inch, and conditions are forecast to improve by midnight
with a break in snowfall and diminishing winds. Please use
caution while traveling.
