Special Weather Statement issued February 18 at 4:26AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

A low pressure system lifting north into the Bering Sea will
bring snow showers and strong northeasterly winds gusting as high
as 35-45 mph. This could lead to several hours of blowing snow
through this evening, with visibilities dropping below one mile
during heavier showers. Snow totals will be about one inch, and
conditions are forecast to improve tonight as winds diminish.
Please use caution while traveling.
