Periods of freezing drizzle with a trace to .05 inch accumulation
of ice is expected this morning for the Pribilof Islands The
freezing drizzle has developed in the low clouds ahead of a low
pressure system lifting north into the Bering Sea which is
expected to bring snow showers and strong northeasterly winds
gusting as high as 35-45 mph. This could lead to several hours of
blowing snow through this evening, with visibilities dropping
below one mile during heavier showers. Snow totals will be about
one inch, and conditions are forecast to improve tonight as winds
diminish. Please use caution while traveling.
