Winter Weather Advisory issued February 18 at 2:56PM EST until February 20 at 12:00PM EST by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected in the North Carolina
mountains and far northeast Georgia. Total snow accumulations
mostly under an inch in the valleys and 1 to 3 inches on
ridgetops. Ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as
high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of northeast Georgia and western North Carolina.

* WHEN…From 6 AM Wednesday to noon EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Snow and ice accumulations will make some roads
treacherous and impassable. The weight of the snow and ice on tree
limbs and power lines could produce isolated outages. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and
evening commutes.
