Flood Warning issued February 19 at 2:37PM CST until February 28 at 10:34AM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kentucky…Indiana…

Ohio River at Newburgh Dam affecting Henderson, Spencer, Daviess,
Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties.

.The observations from Newburgh Lock and Dam are running about 2
feet below reality. The river is around 46.6 feet and should crest
at 46.7 by Saturday afternoon.

For the Ohio River…including Newburgh Dam…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Newburgh Dam.

* WHEN…Until Friday, February 28.

* IMPACTS…At 46.0 feet, Highway 662 near the old Lock and Dam 47
begins to flood. This is approximately 1/2 mile downstream from
the current lock and dam.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:00 PM CST Wednesday the stage was 46.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 46.7
feet Saturday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
Friday, February 28.
– Flood stage is 38.0 feet.
