Flood Warning issued February 22 at 8:13PM CST until February 28 at 4:14PM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky…Illinois…Indiana…Missouri…

Ohio River at Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville, Henderson,
Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda, Smithland
Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam, and Cairo.

.Heavy rainfall across the Ohio River basin this month has resulted
in minor to moderate flooding along the river. Some locations are
falling while others continue to crest through Monday. Most
locations are forecast to fall below flood stage by the end of next
week.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Mount Vernon.

* WHEN…Until Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 45.0 feet, Large portions of Point Township in Posey
county are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– There is no current observed data.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 44.1
feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
