Flood Warning issued February 22 at 8:13PM CST until February 28 at 6:40PM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky…Illinois…Indiana…Missouri…

Ohio River at Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville, Henderson,
Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda, Smithland
Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam, and Cairo.

.Heavy rainfall across the Ohio River basin this month has resulted
in minor to moderate flooding along the river. Some locations are
falling while others continue to crest through Monday. Most
locations are forecast to fall below flood stage by the end of next
week.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Golconda.

* WHEN…Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 46.0 feet, Flooding begins to affect Rosiclare
Illinois.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CST Saturday the stage was 45.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 45.5
feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Friday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
