Flood Warning issued February 22 at 8:13PM CST until March 1 at 5:00PM CST by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky…Illinois…Indiana…Missouri…

Ohio River at Owensboro, Newburgh Dam, Evansville, Henderson,
Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, Golconda, Smithland
Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam, and Cairo.

.Heavy rainfall across the Ohio River basin this month has resulted
in minor to moderate flooding along the river. Some locations are
falling while others continue to crest through Monday. Most
locations are forecast to fall below flood stage by the end of next
week.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Cairo.

* WHEN…Until Saturday, March 01.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CST Saturday the stage was 44.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Saturday, March 01 and continue falling to 28.4 feet Tuesday,
March 04.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
