Flood Warning issued February 22 at 9:47PM EST until February 25 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Indianapolis IN

…The Flood Warning continues for the following river and locations
in Indiana…

White River at Hazleton and Petersburg.

.Recent rainfall of two to three inches led to rises along southern
Indiana rivers and streams. Minor flooding continues on the lower
White River as of Saturday evening, with water levels
quasi-stationary at about one foot or less above flood stage. Water
at these locations is expected to fall below flood stage by Tuesday
night. Locations on the lower portions of the Wabash and East Fork
White Rivers are elevated, some in action stage, which may last as
late as Wednesday evening.

Dry weather Sunday and Monday along with increasing winds Monday
will be conducive to drainage and evaporation.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…White River at Petersburg.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Flooding affects low agricultural lands,
low oil fields and closes Bottoms Rd…Brothers Rd and East
Governors Road in Knox County. In agricultural season…farmers
are concerned at this stage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 PM EST Saturday /7:45 PM CST Saturday/ the stage was
16.7 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM EST Saturday /7:45 PM CST Saturday/ was
16.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage Monday evening.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
