Flood Warning issued February 23 at 9:35AM EST until March 3 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Jackson KY

* WHAT…Elevated lake levels at Buckhorn Lake will continue to
cause flooding along the Middle Fork Kentucky River and local
tributaries upstream of the Lake.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following
county, Leslie.

* WHEN…Until 1000 AM EST Monday Mar 03.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of roads, creeks, and streams, immediately
upstream of Buckhorn Lake is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 928 AM EST, Flooding is occurring upstream of Buckhorn
Lake.
– Lake pool levels are lowering; however, flooding will
continue for at least the next week, as the recession of
water will be slow.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Confluence, Dryhill, Toulouse and Mosley Bend.
