Flood Advisory issued February 24 at 11:23PM EST until February 25 at 1:15AM EST by NWS Melbourne FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of east central Florida, including the following
counties, Indian River and St. Lucie.

* WHEN…Until 115 AM EST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1123 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Sebastian, Vero Beach, Fellsmere, Indian River Shores,
Gifford, Vero Beach South, Winter Beach, Wabasso, Sebastian
Highlands, Pointe West, Vero Beach Highland, Vero Lake
Estates, South Beach, Lakewood Park, Orchid, Vero Beach
Airport, Grovenor Estates, Jaycee Beach, Florida Ridge and
Wabasso Beach.
