Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Washington, Chicot,
East Carroll and Issaquena Counties.

Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Madison, Tensas,
Jefferson, Claiborne and Warren Counties.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Vicksburg.

* WHEN…Until Sunday, March 09.

* IMPACTS…At 40.5 feet, Shady Lane Drive becomes impassable. Long
Lake Road becomes impassable
just north of Cypress Drive.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CST Monday the stage was 39.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 40.6
feet early Saturday afternoon.
– Action stage is 35.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
