* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Calcasieu River near Kinder.

* WHEN…Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, If gage reading at Kinder reaches 18 feet,
flooding begins to cut off some of the roads around Topsy in
Northwest Jefferson Davis Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:15 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 17.2 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 PM CST Tuesday was 17.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 13.6 feet Sunday
evening.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
