Flood Warning issued February 26 at 8:34AM CST until February 27 at 8:45PM CST by NWS Lake Charles LA

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall this past weekend
continues.

* WHERE…A portion of southwest Louisiana, including the following
parishes, Allen and Jefferson Davis.

* WHEN…Until 845 PM CST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 832 AM CST, gauge reports indicated Moderate Flooding
ongoing. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area.
The creek has crested and will continue flooding for the next
day or so.
– This includes the following streams and drainages…
Barnes Creek.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
mainly rural areas of Southwestern Allen and Northwestern
Jefferson Davis Parishes
