.Surf will rapidly build down the island chain today due to a
large northwest (320 degrees) swell arriving. Heights will exceed
warning levels through the day as the swell peaks, then steadily
lower tonight through Thursday morning.

* WHAT…Surf rising to 7 to 10 feet.

* WHERE…West facing shores of the Big Island.

* WHEN…From noon today to 6 AM HST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.
