For the High Rip Current Risk, through Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETIALS…North swell is expected to subside enough
to allow for the rip current risk and surf along north facing
reefs to fall below hazardous levels Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, elevated northeast trade swell will continue to bring
a high risk of rip currents along east facing reefs through
Friday afternoon.
