* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Depending on
ice behavior, any release of the ice jam could result in sudden
rises of water, leading to a rapid flooding situation.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 753 PM MST, Even though recent river gauge readings show
that the river level has dropped below flood stage this
evening at Glendive, Emergency Management reports that more
sections of ice from upstream are still approaching Glendive
and could easily lead to additional sudden rises in the river
level.
– Flooding impacts are expected to continue, but no additional
rainfall is expected.
